EdisonReport Editor’s Note:

The Beacon Awards are adding five new categories this year — Cultural Institution, Retail, Hospitality, Experiential, and two Product Design tracks — a meaningful expansion for a New York metro-focused program. The addition of product design categories is particularly notable, broadening eligibility beyond project-based work. Submissions closed October 3; the ceremony is October 29 at Sony Hall.
