We’re looking for an experienced, relationship‑driven Regional Sales Manager who’s ready to elevate our presence across the central region and strengthen our partnerships throughout the lighting and design community. In this role, you’ll take on a highly visible leadership position where you will guide independent sales agencies, deepen our influence with specifiers, and contribute valuable market insights that shape strategy at the highest level.
You’ll work closely with agency partners to develop clear sales plans, monitor their execution, and ensure healthy pipeline visibility throughout the region. As the commercial leader for your territory, you’ll provide coaching, training, and ongoing support to ensure each agency is positioned for success. Quarterly business reviews, performance updates, and forward‑looking market analysis will give you the opportunity to directly influence organizational decisions and regional growth initiatives.
This role gives you the chance to build meaningful connections across the lighting ecosystem—specifiers, contractors, distributors, and end users—while generating excitement for our products and brand. Your technical knowledge and market understanding will help guide product recommendations, strengthen project positioning, and foster long‑term goodwill with customers. You’ll also play a key role in project identification and development, staying close to the competitive landscape and communicating emerging trends, pricing pressures, and new opportunities back to the leadership team.
As someone who thrives in fast‑moving environments, you’ll appreciate the variety this role offers. From strategic planning sessions to hands‑on project support, agency meetings to industry events, your days will be full, dynamic, and impactful. Travel—approximately 50%—will keep you engaged with the people and markets that drive results, and your presence will be felt at regional trainings, agency activities, and national trade shows.
To succeed in this position, you should bring at least five years of experience within the lighting industry and a strong understanding of specification, applications, or distributor sales. At least two years in a regional sales management role—or an equivalent level of experience demonstrating readiness for this step—is essential. Strong communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to influence agency principals and key specifiers will set you apart. You should also be organized, analytical, collaborative, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities.
The physical aspects of the role include lifting sample bags up to 50 pounds, participating in events and trade shows that require extended periods of standing, and managing the demands of regular travel.
If you’re a motivated sales professional who thrives on building relationships, spotting opportunities before others see them, and driving meaningful commercial results, this is an exceptional opportunity to grow your career and make a significant impact.
