Yesterday was a fun day — one of my favorite companies, Luminii, the sponsor of the July edition of Today in Lighting, purchased Felix Lighting from Croatia, another great company I know well. Both Luminii and Felix Lighting were featured in our top 10 light trades last year, recognizing the best products we saw across all of the trade shows. Congratulations to both companies.

Jeff Bristol has resigned as VP of NEMRA’s Lighting Division after 18 months, stepping away to return to executive operating leadership. Under him, the division grew from scratch to 150+ member companies, launching education programs with IES and Lutron.

Performance Lighting Systems’ LightMatters 2026 will bring together lighting professionals for education, networking, and an evening celebration featuring a live performance by Skip Martin of Kool & the Gang hits.
