At NYControlled 2025, I sat down with Chris Primous of LiteTrace Brands to discuss the company’s expanding product portfolio and their latest innovations in commercial lighting and building controls.
A Legacy in Lighting Controls
LiteTrace Brands has been steadily growing in the commercial lighting space, focusing on integrating automation, energy savings, and ease of use into their product lines. Primous emphasized the company’s commitment to making controls simple for end users while maximizing efficiency.
EmerLite™
One of the company’s newest offerings is EmerLite™, an emergency testing solution that automates the monthly 30-second and annual 90-minute discharge tests required by code. “With Bluetooth control devices, building owners can complete testing without climbing ladders or paying high manual testing costs,” Primous explained. EmerLite™ integrates with existing Bluetooth lighting apps to make compliance effortless and reduce labor expenses.
Keilton and Autani
In addition to EmerLite™, LiteTrace Brands is expanding its Keilton commercial Bluetooth product line and Autani building platform. The newest thermostats in the Autani system allow occupancy-based control of HVAC and lighting, ensuring energy savings by turning systems on or off depending on room use. Primous highlighted that these products leverage lighting sensor data to optimize comfort and efficiency throughout commercial spaces.
Other Offerings
LiteTrace Brands also continues to offer Keilton Basic, a standalone sensor for basic lighting control, demonstrating their commitment to flexible solutions for a variety of commercial needs. Primous noted, “We are constantly expanding our portfolio under the LiteTrace umbrella, but these flagship brands showcase our focus on reliability, simplicity, and integration.”
