DIGITAL PRODUCTION SPECIALIST

This position will perform and provide support for the coordination of a variety of digital marketing projects, including the electronic production of marketing communications tools for web and print distribution. You will also collaborate with our Sales and Engineering teams to develop a high level of technical product knowledge, as well as industry codes, standards and listings.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Edit and create electronic documents and produce files and graphics for web, print and electronic use maintaining the Kenall brand, styles and design consistency for product specification sheets, installation guides, flyers, newsletters, HTML emails, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Provide support to Print or Digital Groups, including modifying and formatting fonts, creating PDF’s, pre-flighting files for printing, gathering files onto disk or external drives, sending files to external sources and archiving digital assets.
  • Maintain product price guide and specification sheet changes.
  • Perform website audits; use content management system to maintain the Kenall website and ensure all product information is complete, current and accurate.
  • Responsible for file management and maintaining the creation of the image management database of electronic illustrations, icons, logos and images/photos.

Experience in Adobe Creative Suite 5 (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, and InDesign) preferred. Knowledge of graphic arts processes including electronic production, website database maintenance, four-color process separation and print production.  Experience from within the lighting industry, a plus. Must be able to effectively work on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and within schedule to achieve successful results.
