Electrical Engineer With Lighting Background

FES is looking for a local electrical engineer with lighting background to join our group. The selected candidate will collaborate with a team and work closely with our Director of Engineering in planning, scheduling, cost analysis, evaluation of alternatives, design review, management review, tooling release and production release.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- BS in Engineering – Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge in photometrics, lighting layout design software
- Knowledge in AutoCAD
- Experience with IESNA guidelines and lighting design best practices
- 1 year plus lighting design application engineering experience
- Proficient with common Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of power electronic concepts, switch mode power supply theory of operation, resonant systems, and control systems
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and work within project deadlines
- Knowledge of project scheduling and cost estimating/forecasting
- Ability to adjust priorities as changes occur
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Ability to organize, plan, and present ideas and concepts
