Brian Dundon, R.I.P.

EdisonReport has learned on Friday, that Brian Dundon passed away.  Brian was the former CEO of Advance Transformer and Vice-Chairman of Philips Lighting.  Read comments from Dave Levinson.

Brian Robert Dundon, 73, of Naples, FL, passed away on March 13, 2020 at the Kobacker House in Columbus, OH.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1pm on Friday, March 20th at Worthington United Methodist Church with Pastor Cyndy Garn officiating (600 High St, Worthington, OH 43085).

A casual gathering at a nearby establishment will follow the service from 4pm. Details to be given at the service.

Brian was born in Columbus, OH on March 29, 1946 to the late Robert and Lois (Meeker).He was a graduate of Thomas Worthington High School (1964), Bowling Green State University (BA, 1968) and Ohio State University (MBA, 1970), he married Sandy Jane (Minor) Dundon on December 27, 1970 in Columbus, OH. He worked as a businessman and executive for Gould, Century, Magnetek and Philips before semi-retirement.He then consulted with several organizations and was on the board of the Boler Corporation.  Brian was an avid biker, golfer, traveler, and social organizer, keeping friends far and near together and in touch. He enjoyed being involved in and watching sports, including cheering on his children and grandchildren in their activities.

In addition to his parents, Brian is also proceeded in death by his brother Mark Dundon.

Brian is survived by his wife, Sandy (Minor) Dundon; children Kimberly (Kevin) Neisch, Christopher (Stacie) Dundon; brother Bruce Dundon; grandchildren Kason Neisch, Rylee and Avery Dundon; nieces Angela and Nicole Dundon; goddaughter Briana Cialdella.

We understand that the corona virus is a real concern for many and hope no one feels pressured to attend. Your many notes of caring, prayers and love have been more than enough. Sandy will be hosting a celebration party for Brian when she returns to Florida and all are invited to that. Date TBD.
