LEDVANCE to LightFair Attendees – “Make the Bright Choice With LEDVANCE Because You Deserve Better!”

LEDVANCE LLC, the maker of LEDVANCE and SYLVANIA General Lighting in the US and Canada, wants everyone at LightFair 2022 to know the company thinks “You Deserve Better!”

“We are really excited to be back here at LightFair in Las Vegas and to see everyone. It’s great to feel the excitement and energy here, and we want to add to it in a big way when the trade show starts Tuesday. We’re looking forward to an awesome couple of days showcasing our professional-grade portfolio of LEDVANCE and SYLVANIA lighting products designed to make the lives of our customers better because they deserve better. This is especially true after the last couple of stressful years,” said Jonathan Lubeck, VP of US Trade Channel, LEDVANCE LLC.

Your humble editor has heard LEDVANCE has something special planned when the trade show starts Tuesday morning, so make sure to check out booth 3228 right when the show opens.

“LEDVANCE has over a century of lighting expertise, and we’ve poured that knowledge into a broad mix of incredible new LED luminaires and lamps and new controls products that we are showcasing here at LightFair,” said Lubeck. “SYLVANIA and LEDVANCE products are known for being innovative, reliable, and easy to install, and they are backed by an industry-leading, trusted warranty program recognized by the National Lighting Bureau.”

One of the new products being showcased is the LEDVANCE Superior Class Area Flood luminaire which boasts superior photometrics with clear cutoff, standard 10kV surge protection, TAA compliance and an exclusive LEDVANCE design – all with a 10-year warranty. These luminaires are wattage selectable offering 3 wattages per unit and have a 7-pin NEMA photo receptacle or an optional sensor receptacle for daylight harvesting and additional energy savings.

LEDVANCE is also unveiling LEDVANCE tapTronic LED drivers which are conveniently field-programmable with a smart phone, thanks to Near Field Communication (NFC) technology. These programmable, constant-current NFC LED drivers cover compact, linear, and outdoor products, covering top desirable wattages within each series. These can help customers optimize their inventory management because the flexibility and coverage range these drivers can be programmed at cuts down the number of different drivers to have on hand.

“We are proud LEDVANCE is the only global, vertically-integrated lighting manufacturer, which allows us greater supply-chain flexibility and the ability to deliver quality products very quickly, something that’s critically important in today’s environment. The LEDVANCE portfolio continues to expand and includes an ever-increasing number of lumen and color-selectable products, many of which can be customized, if needed, right here in the US,” said Lubeck.

LEDVANCE is also introducing its LEDVANCE LINK Wireless Ecosytem this week. LEDVANCE LINK Bluetooth Mesh technology makes networked lighting control quick and easy which helps save labor, materials, and time. It’s designed for contractors who want to offer their customers the convenience and energy efficiency of the latest lighting solutions—without the hassle and expense of additional wiring or complicated gateways.

The past few years have impacted us all, professionally, and personally. “Everyone in the electrical industry worked so hard during the global pandemic to literally keep the lights on. To say thank you, we’d like to offer a chance for LightFair attendees to be rewarded as part of our You Deserve Better campaign,” said Charlie Harte, VP of Marketing and Customer Experience for US & Canada and President & CEO for Canada, LEDVANCE LLC. Five people in the US and five people in Canada will win $1,000 and a selection of lighting products designed to help make their lives better. People can go to this link to enter, or scan the QR code at Booth 3228. LEDVANCE also launched a contest that rewards contractors.

Also, as part of the campaign, LEDVANCE is working with leading mental health organizations to share resources to help those who feel they may not deserve better. These include:

  • NAMI (National Alliance of Mental Illness) – the largest grassroots mental health organization in the US dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness
  • CAMH (Centre for Addiction and Mental Health) – Canada’s largest mental health teaching hospital and one of the world’s leading research centres in its field.

A study in the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine found more workers are absent from work due to stress and anxiety than from physical illness or injury. In addition, mental illness caused more days of work loss and impairment than other chronic conditions, such as diabetes, asthma, and arthritis. “Mental health awareness is an important focus for our region, and everyone deserves to feel better. That is why we are partnering with leading mental health organizations who work so hard to help those who are struggling,” said Harte.

“So, whether at LightFair, at home or work, or in your community throughout the year, make the bright choice with LEDVANCE because you deserve better,” said Lubeck.
