Naperville, IL: SnapCount, the leading lighting and energy retrofit software platform among ESCO’s and retrofit contactors, is extending their lead with a new user interface release they are calling the Ion Experience. Ion will deliver a new look and improved navigation making the power of SnapCount available to more workers in more places, enabling users to win more retrofit project opportunities with streamlined workflows.
“After spending years in the trenches with our high-volume retrofit customers, we developed a solution that could stand up to the precision and rigor required by this exacting industry”, said Mike Seifert, Co-Founder of SnapCount Software. “Our next job was to make the platform more attractive, simpler to use and more accessible to a broader pool of workers.”
As an initial step of an evolution to a more comprehensive energy efficiency platform, the Ion Experience includes both usability and aesthetic upgrades including streamlined lighting retrofit project workflows, revised navigation, and easier onboarding for new users. With the core functionality still in place, Ion will also improve how retrofitters interact with their supply chain in sourcing critical labor and materials.
Of the new user experience release, SnapCount customer Leslie Kaat of LED Source stated “As an experienced user of SnapCount, the features packed into the Ion Experience are a complete game-changer for us to accelerate our pace of winning retrofit projects. The new navigational layout makes the platform easier to use while the introduction of ‘sales projects’ and the status ribbon enables me to breeze through a project. We’re proud to say we use the most comprehensive retrofit software on the market and the release of the Ion Experience only elevates that status.”
“An innovation like Ion couldn’t happen without the talent and collaboration of our incredible team”, added Seifert. “We rallied our entire company from Development, Customer Success, Marketing and Sales to make sure Ion was not only ground-breaking but was also centered on the most important stake-holder, our customer. The Ion release comes at the perfect time as the world climbs out of the pandemic-related slowdown and gears up for explosive growth in the retrofit industry.”
