Durham LED maker Cree has reached a settlement in a patent infringement lawsuit it filed in November against a flashlight company.
Cree accused New York-based E. Mishan and Sons, commonly known as Emson, of infringing on six patents. In its suit, Cree used the Bell+Howell Tac Light – which was being sold at Wal-Mart, Target and other retailers – as an example, calling the alleged infringement “intentional and willful.”
