Grinch Comes for Lunera, Harvard

Gordon Routledge: “Your lighting company is more likely to fail than your driver these days.”

The EdisonReport received several messages from key sources informing us that the Lunera Website was down and the phone number was disconnected. In September, EdisonReport exclusively reported that  Lunera was being sued by a Chinese Supplier for $9.6M.

One of our sources reported to us, “Lunera Lighting has closed their doors and shut down operations. They attempted to find an investor that would purchase the company, including their $13M debt to their Chinese distributor, but were ultimately unable to make a deal. Last week, they called their staff in for a goodbye lunch on 12/14, and they have been closed ever since.”

In addition, we have been hearing of troubles across the pond with Harvard Technologies, formerly Harvard Engineering.  Harvard built and sold smart drivers to luminaire manufacturers in both Europe and North America.  Gordon Routledge, Senior Partner at Ideas with Energy LTD, posted a thread on his Linked In page.
