OEM Regional Sales Manager – Universal Lighting Technologies

Universal Lighting Technologies is a leader in the design and manufacture of LED drivers, modules, controls, and related lighting electronics.  We are seeking a talented OEM Regional Sales Manager – Eastern US to join our team.  We offer a competitive salary, performance-based bonus program, full benefits package, and a positive team environment where everyone can make an impact.


Responsible for developing and executing the sales plan for the assigned territory, which includes the eastern United States.


  • Effectively manage diverse relationships with OEM clients (purchasing, sourcing, engineering, product management, executive management, quality, manufacturing)
  • Identify and close new sales opportunities while maximizing sales with existing clients
  • Provide excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Collaborate with teammates to develop new products and services
  • Provide timely communication of key sales activities, industry trends, and client needs
  • Prepare and present compelling sales proposals that result in wins
  • Perform assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Approximately 50% business travel


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field of study
  • 5+ years of sales or engineering experience in the lighting, electrical, or electronics field
  • Prior experience in technical and/or component sales preferred


  • Results-driven professional with strong need to succeed
  • Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communicator
  • Highly organized with ability to manage several projects simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines and quality of work expectations
  • Detail and data oriented
  • Solid technical aptitude and ability to provide product applications support
  • Positive personality who works well alone and with others
  • Resides in the sales region
