LEDucation 2022 Earns 10 Stars

Your humble editor believes that LEDucation was exactly what our industry needed right now.  Yes, the show proved that we could gather safely, but more important it confirmed that we WANT to gather. While ZOOM is great, the success of this show means that there is still much demand to get together in person.

Over 4000 people attended LEDucation 2022, which is slightly less than in 2019.  But if you polled the attendees and asked the to contrast their opinion of the 2019 show vs 2022, you would find that almost all would tell you that it was a better show. In 2019, we took LEDucation, and other trade shows, for granted.  In 2022, we were more appreciative of being able to meet in person.

  • Caroline Rinker attributed the success to the lighting design community.
  • Dennis Geier, FC/SSL Lighting said, “It’s great to be in front of people again.
  • Lance Bennett, Cooper Lighting said, “I know it is a good show,  when people say it’s good to see me, and I think they really mean it.”
